CSACEFA Plateau was one of the states LEARNigeria engaged to carry out a Household
Assessment for in and out of school children on Literacy and Numeracy in Six (6) LGAs of Plateau State. The LEARNigeria pilot project was conducted in 2016 and there was need to scale it up to Six State (Kano, Lagos, Ebonyi, Plateau, Taraba, and Akwa Ibom).
One key finding from the assessment conducted in Ajing Community is none availability of a School, while pupils who attend school travel 30 minutes to Mangu Community every day and their source of drinking water is the community river. From the findings, gap identified during the intervention will be used as an advocacy material for advocacy to SUBEB, MOE, SDGs and Legislature to address this gap in the community.
